Wilhelm-Morgner-Award 2022
The Wilhelm-Morgner-Award is in honour of the expressionist Wilhelm Morgner, born in Soest, who died during World War I aged 26. He was an outstanding artist of the expressionism and pioneer of abstract painting, his work had a strong influence on the development of painting in the 20th century.
